Alcatel-Lucent selected CFT to transition and transform a complex EMEA infrastructure-monitoring operation supporting a large corporate backbone, more than 100 applications, and infrastructure used by key enterprise customers.
The environment covered 44 data centers and approximately 115,000 active elements. CFT developed a five-month transition plan incorporating recruitment, training, certification, monitoring-platform maintenance, change management, and structured handover of critical operational knowledge.
The transition was completed on schedule. The service was subsequently expanded from EMEA coverage to 24/7 global operations, while consolidating monitoring tools onto a single Nagios platform.
